Why upgrade to Blu-Ray?

If you have an HD ready or HD television then BluRay will provide you with the best possible picture and sound from movies. BluRay is true 1080p Full HD and most players are also capable of upscaling your DVD movies to near HD quality.

Look out for models with extra storage capacity if you plan on watching BD-Live content like SD card or USB inputs. Some models also allow playback from an SD or USB so you playback downloaded content from your PC or laptop in High Definition on your Television set.

BluRay Discs are able to hold more data than a standard DVD meaning higher quality and more extras than you would expect with a DVD. In fact, one BluRay Disc is capable of holding the same amount of data as 5 DVD's.
