Q: Do I have to pay for delivery?

A: Hi-Spek offer a free of charge delivery service to all UK mainland destinations*. However, if there is no one at the delivery address to receive the goods on the specified delivery date, an additional charge to cover re-shipping costs will be made as follows:

  • Up to 32" television: £ 35.00
  • Over 32" television: £ 70.00

* White Goods can not be ordered online, and are not subject to the free of charge delivery service detailed above.

Q: How can I tell if an item is in stock?

A: Our website gives details of the stockholding.

Q: If you are out stock, how long will it be before this item is available from stock?

A: This can vary depending upon supplies from manufacturers. However this generally is not greater than four weeks and the website will provide the incoming date if this has been confirmed by the manufacturer. If you want more information about a specific product, please contact our telesales department on 01727 791133 who will assist further.

Q: I have noticed that an item showing out of stock on your website has proposed a future delivery date could you explain this?

A: Yes. Our state of the art website technology gives us advance information about confirmed delivery dates from suppliers and where this is the case, you will be offered our earliest delivery date.

Q: Are your transactions secure?

A: Yes. We use the industry standard secure socket layer technology SSL, to encrypt your payment and address information when shopping on our website.

Q: What kind of warranty do I get with the goods that I purchase?

A: All goods supplied come with a standard manufacturer's warranty, which covers parts and labour. The majority of these are twelve months and some selected brands are twenty-four months.

Q: Do prices vary between your stores and your website?

A: Both our stores and website offer the very best deals possible. Offers may vary.

Q: How can I be sure that my transaction has been processed?

A: Upon placing an order, you will be sent an e-mail confirming your order details.

Q: Do you deliver on weekends?

A: Currently Hi-Spek do not offer weekend delivery, as we cannot guarantee the service. All our deliveries take place Monday to Friday in normal working hours exluding public holidays.

Q: Do you offer timed deliveries?

A: Currently, Hi-Spek do not offer timed deliveries.

Q: What is the likely time that delivery will be made on the date that has been given for delivery?

A: Our carriers will normally deliver between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm on the delivery date supplied.

Q: What do I need to do if my goods have not arrived by 4pm on the confirmed date of delivery?

A: In the unlikely event of this happening please call our telesales team on 01727 791133 who will be able to chase the order for you and give you details.

Q: Do your deliveries include installation?

Currently Hi-Spek do not offer an installation service. All goods are delivered only.

Q: I am ordering a large screen TV, will I have to assist the driver in unloading the item?

A: No. All our large screen TVs, 32inch and above are delivered using a two man crew and you will not need to provide assistance to unload your goods.

Q: What do I do if my goods have arrived and I have a problem with them?

A: Contact the customer service department on 01727 791122 or e-mail customerservices@hispek.com, detailing the problem.

Q: I have purchased an extended warranty, when will I receive my policy documentation?

A: Policy documentation is normally sent within twelve-weeks of purchase. Click here for Extended Warranty Terms and Conditions

Q: I have to make a claim under my Extended Warranty but have not received my policy documentation.

A: No Problem. All Extended warranties sold are registered with our customer services team. Please call 01727 79 11 22 for assistance.

Q: If I have to claim on my extended warranty, do I pay the service department or engineer directly?

A: No.The policy holder is not responsible for settling any of their claims.

Q: I have had my TV for less than a year and it has developed a fault, what do I do?

A: Call the customer services team on 01727 791122 or e-mail customerservices@hispek.com and arrangements will be made to deal with this service enquiry.
